"Now, that's I've done the Daniel's Diet, what do I do?"

DANIEL'S DIET, PART 2

*The positive results that so many of us have received from adapting the Daniel's Diet have been so exciting that we are having a Daniel's Diet Part 2. This will be called Daniel's Diet Part 2: 8 Weeks to Better Health.  Are you ready for this?*

This will include:

  • Listen into the weekly Tuesday health Conference Call at 8 pm. It begins January 19, 2010. The number is 605-475-6900, Pin 100516#. We will announce the topics shortly.
  • Do a brisk walk for 30 minutes or walk 6000 - 10,000 steps a day, five or more days a week. See the exercise handout at this link (http://nechealth.northeasternsda.com/document_groups/14) for information on the benefits of exercise.
  • Choose a Daniel's Diet Buddy to whom you will be accountable.
  • Drink sufficient water daily. A simple way to tell if you are drinking enough water is the color of your urine. Sufficient water intake is indicated by a pale color.
  • Maintain the Daniel's Diet. (If you have some Daniel's Diet recipes you'd like to share, please e-mail them to us.)
  • Pray daily and read spiritually-uplifting material.

Daniel 1:15-20: "At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food.... To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning.... At the end of the time set by the king to bring them in, the chief official presented them to Nebuchadnezzar. The king talked with them, and he found none equal to Daniel,  Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah; so they entered the king's service.  In every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king questioned them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters in his whole kingdom."  (NIV)
